Data Deletion Requests
- How to submit: Email contact@sledgeapp.com from the address associated with your account and state “Data Deletion Request”. We may ask for information to verify your identity.
- What we delete: Our systems automatically erase your account, profile, preferences, and user‑generated content associated with your account, including non‑required activity history and marketing identifiers.
- What we may retain: We delete what we control. We may retain limited records needed to comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent fraud/abuse, or enforce our terms (e.g., transaction records, chargeback evidence, security logs). Some records may continue to exist with third‑party processors (e.g., payment providers) where required by law; their retention is governed by their policies. Where retention is required, we restrict use to those purposes only.
- Backups and caches: Active data is deleted automatically; backups and distributed caches purge on their normal schedules.
- Timing: Requests are processed automatically; in most cases deletion occurs immediately after verification. We’ll send a confirmation. Backup removals follow their normal purge cycles.

To keep Sledge safe and welcoming for everyone, we maintain and enforce Community Guidelines. The following is a summary of the key principles reflected in our in‑app guidelines:
- Zero Tolerance Policy: No harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or harmful behavior. Violations may lead to immediate suspension.
- No Illegal Services: Sledge may not be used to promote or engage in unlawful activities or content.
- Respectful Interactions: Treat others with respect. Spam, fraud, personal attacks, and inappropriate content are prohibited.
- Appropriate Content Only: Listings, messages, and user‑generated content must be suitable for all audiences; violent, sexual, or otherwise inappropriate content is removed.
- Reporting Violations: You can report issues directly in the app; our team reviews reports promptly.
Enforcement: Actions may include warnings or temporary suspension, removal of content or listings, permanent account termination, and where appropriate, legal action.
When you use the Sledge mobile app, we may collect additional information needed to provide core features:
- Account Information: Details you provide during sign-up, such as name, email address, and profile preferences.
- Device & Technical Data: Information such as device type, operating system, unique identifiers, crash logs, and performance diagnostics.
- Location Data: If you grant permission, we may collect and use your location to suggest relevant activities and improve your experience. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings.
- Payment Information: Payments are processed securely by third-party providers (e.g., Stripe, Apple, Google). We do not store your full payment details on our servers.
- Push Notifications: With your consent, we may send notifications about bookings, reminders, or updates. You can adjust notification settings on your device.
